Newsletter June 2018

As a lot of you weren’t receiving or Mailchimp newsletters we’ve ditched that idea and have gone back to good ole fashioned email!
The May half-term was another great success with new and old faces and plenty of lovely bakes in the sunshine! We’re gearing up for an event tomorrow so baking plenty as well as getting our running shoes on. We are sponsoring the Collingbourne canter and fun run so do pop in if you are passing by and try some delicious cookies and cakes as well as savoury bites!
We have a new booking platform which will be accessible via our website where you can book and pay for all classes, register your child’s details as well as seeing all our availability. It will hopefully make the whole process of booking and communication more streamline. We  have now welcomed clients to our cookery school and have over 20 regular whom visit on a weekly basis. We offer a wide variety of services from after school club, GCSE tuition, Duke of Edinburgh award, home schooled tuition, holiday club, working in schools and nurseries as well as coming to peoples houses. We are very flexible and can offer sessions between an hour to six hours long and either 1:1 or working in a small group. We offer bespoke quotations and can devise lesson plans if your child wants to work towards a specific goal. Forexample, all our older students have individual folders to store their recipes and to gather evidence of their practical skills whilst also working on theory. We will endeavour to put more detailed information about our services and what we can offer on our website in due course. This summer we are thrilled to have been invited back to Sunflowers preschool in Grafton to do some campfire cooking for two days throughout the holidays. Contact them directly at to book your space.
This summer we will be open from the 15th July till the 3rd September 10-17:15 daily and will take a two week break at some point (yet to be decided) so do look at the website to book or register your interest by emailing us. We may hold some sessions in local village halls so we are able to accommodate more children and offer more services.
If you haven’t visited us for a while please come back and see all the positive changes we’ve made! We get lots of positive feedback, our sessions are very flexible so you’re welcome to stay as long as you please. We offer arts and crafts activities relating to what we are baking and as you can see from the photos, we cook a huge variety of things from meals to snacks as well as edible gifts.
